My Recent Playlist

I feel like it’s been forever since I shared my playlist in the blog. I wasn’t myself for days. I don’t know why but recently I felt so uninterested in everything. The only thing that kept me energetic and happy was music so I’m gonna share all my recent favorite picks.

My K-pop obsession is so real, I mean, even though I know very little korean, it speaks to me more than any other language that I’d well know.

1. B.T.W (ft. Jay Park) – Jay B

This song holds the #1 position in my heart right now. His voice, music and even the MV is so attractive.

2. Hate that – Key, Taeyeon

Finding a korean song in which both amazing male and female artists sing together is quite rare so songs like these have a special place in my heart.

The lyrics are very relatable and deep like-

“And I hate that I hate
That you’re happy without me
And I pray and I pray
I want you to regret more than I do”

– is such a honest confession that is repeated throughout as chorus and that’s why I love this song even more.

3. Loco – Itzy

Their comeback is getting stronger and stronger and I’m not even lying. I knew Itzy right from their debut and have heard all their discographies. To be honest, I loved this song more than their last hit ‘in the morning’. The visuals, costumes, concept and the lyrics were incredibly good.

4. Lalisa – Lisa

The MV was jaw-dropping. The hype, amount of confidence and what to say about her rap part, she slayed it as usual!!

5. Advice – Taemin

Not to exaggerate but he is the king when it comes to music, art and dance, all put together. All his songs are like drugs, you keep coming for it more. I did. Talking about this song, I’m seriously obsessed. The music video was too unique. His voice sets the perfect mood to relax and feel all raw emotions.

6. Red – The Rose

I found this band very recently and immediately fell in love with this song. I don’t know about their other works but this particular album is too good. The main vocalist Woosung, voice was so catchy.

7. Monster – Exo

Totally addictive!!

8. Illa illa – B.I

9. Face – Woosung

The number of times I repeated this song in my playlist is unhealthy. His facial expressions, emotions and voice is so damn hot and cute at the same time. Another reason to admire him after stanning the band ‘The Rose’ because he is a main member in it.

8. Medicine – New hope club

The very next band which I whole-heartedly support after BTS is ‘New hope club’. I think I’ve introduced them in my previous music post. You are missing out so many beautiful songs if you don’t know them yet. Just like the band name, all their songs are hopeful and only they can pull off a heartbroken song so energetic like this one- medicine.

9. Let me down slow – New hope club

The acoustic version is even more beautiful!!

10. Know me too well (ft. Danna) – New hope club

11. Heat waves – Glass animals

12. Fire for you – cannons

I heard the above two songs from the Netflix original series – Never have I ever. It’s worth watching it if you ask me and all the soundtracks are amazing too.

13. Leave before you love me– Jonas Brothers, Marshmellow

Ah, how can I miss jonas brothers from my list?

“Dancing on the edge, ’bout to take it too far
It’s messing with my head, how I mess with your heart
If you wake up in your bed, alone in the dark

Now coming to K-drama OST’s and Anime opening and ending songs!!

1. ‘Lost in paradise‘ – from Jujutsu Kaisen Anime

This is the ending song of the anime named ‘Jujutsu kaisen’ and the only song which I never skip after each episodes. The beat and the animation is too enthusiastic to avoid.

2. ‘You are my everything’ and ‘Always‘ – from ‘The descendants of the sun’ K-drama

It gives soft romantic vibes while listening and I’m totally here for it.

3. Adrenaline (Italian version) – from Vincenzo K-drama

At last but not the least, the second most awaited collaboration of the year, that is- My Universe by Coldplay × BTS!!

If you haven’t listen to it at least once, then you must be living under a rock. As an BTS army and a fan of Coldplay, this song was like a dream come true.

Jungkook’s voice is not just a voice, it’s like a devine feeling of being present in the heaven. Tae’s deep voice either makes you cry or fall in love. The rap and the other members back vocal parts were absolutely impressive. Coldplay member, Chris voice stood out uniquely as usual.
