Blogging milestone -II (450+ followers)

First of all, I want to thank each and every one for your constant likes, comments and supporting my blog. I recently checked out my blog statistics and it’s a thing I don’t do that often. I still can’t believe how my blog has reached 450 plus followers. It feels like yesterday when I made a thanking post for 100 followers and look at me now. Also, my blog has reached 10,000 views until now and this is gonna be my 70th post!!! I feel so happy that I don’t know what else to say. Nothing would have happened without you guys and I’m so grateful for it.

When I first started, I didn’t have any intention to post further. I came into blogging because of lockdown and boredom. All my real friends neither read books nor interested in reading sorts of things so frankly I didn’t have any motivation to continue further. Except my sister, I also never got anyone to share my excitement about listening to western and K-pop songs. I was like this weird kid left out in the group just because she don’t fit in or have similar interests like others. Yes, my interests were quite different from others like reading books or comics, listening K-pop or western music, watching Anime or American sitcom series and much more. I also had quite different perspective on every hot debate topics. Besides my family, I felt like no one knew about my existence at all. It made me feel so small and vulnerable in this big wide world.

Your likes and comments made me comfortable to post my works on and on. It gave me confidence to come out of the shell and share my thoughts proudly in public. I’m not a socialized person like most others so expressing myself through words, poems and arts helped me to feel relived from my anxiety.

Thus it means a lot when you take your time to read, comment and appreciate my work.

You finally made me feel that I was never alone in this world. It felt good to connect and talk about my similar hobbies and interests. Answering the awards and tag questions helped me to find and realize a lot about myself. People leaving hilarious answers, their struggles, personal experiences for those same questions in the comments made me laugh, cry and realize lot about life. Blogging has taught me so much more that what I’ve expected. It showed me the different perspectives, personalities and the types of people that I’m surrounded with. Who knew that I’ll make so many friends here than in real life? Who knew I’ll find many BTS and kpop fans through blogging? Who knew I’ll find a group of people who has similar perspective towards life like me? It all felt so surreal and good at the same time.

Even though I feel like I’ve no one in this world who cares about me, I always knew somewhere, someone is praying and loving me for who I am.
